Renzetti Apprentise Vise

The Apprentise Rotary Vise offers you functionality, simplicity and quality that a beginner as well as the experienced tyer will be satisfied with for years. The standard features of The Apprentise are a rotary head with an aluminum tension knob, black oxide jaw housing and jaws and a silver powder coated c-clamp with a 8″ hinged stem.

Your Renzetti vise should always be adjusted so that the hook is firmly held when the cam lever is approximately straight down. If the cam lever does not come down to the vertical position (see enclosed illustration), screw the adjustable jaw housing out a little and re-clamp. Repeat this procedure until the cam handle locks the hook in the correct position. This will prevent damage from unnecessary pressure being exerted on the jaws. Screwing the adjustable jaw housing in will make the slot in the jaw narrower for small hook sand vice versa. Remember to readjust your vise clamping whenever changing hook sizes.
